当小偷洗劫一个老妇人的房子，一个古老的精灵从灯里跑了出来。他们被杀了，灯被移到一个博物馆去研究。馆长的女儿很快就被精灵迷住了，邀请她的朋友和一些不速之客一起到博物馆过夜...。Two young men (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) who have been friends since early childhood decide to go on a trip to find a third friend (Rafael Baez) who has long since disappeared. Stories they have heard indicate that the friend has been seen in an apparently rambling, incoherent state at Coney Island. Their trip leads them to a number of adventures involving the otherworld-like life...。
