金子真司一家经营着为被关押在监狱和拘留所的人提供慰问品服务的慰问品店。 有一天，发生了儿子的幼驯染女孩被杀害的凄惨事件。因为她的死而受到打击的一家，但犯人的母亲却来询问想要慰问品。金子一边面对犯人，一边日益感到疑惑和愤怒。 这时，他遇到了每天都来拘留所的女高中生。她不知为何要求与杀害自己母亲的男人见面。在面对两个事件谜团的过程中，金子的过去暴露在周围，动摇了家族的羁绊。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
