本片由真实故事改编。因为犯了交通事故，塔利被处以十五年有期徒刑，于是他一气之下杀害了一名加州警察。为了逃避追捕, 塔利和他的女同伙多琳私闯进了沃克一家的郊区农场，他们是这个街区唯一的黑人。农场主人沃克先生必须要说服失去理智的塔利饶自己和家人一命。。This story starts in Italy very briefly, a young soccer player mother dies and the boy is forced to live in North America with Friends of the Mother.
