一次车祸让远野志贵（铃村健一 配音）拥有了能够看到“死之线”的能力。死之线是一些遍布在各种物体上的线，只要沿着它切割，就能轻易的摧毁物体，这种能力让志贵苦恼不已。一日放学的途中，志贵遇见了一名白衣女子，体内突然产生的杀意让志贵措手不及，还未反应过来便将女子切成了碎片。第二天，本该死去的女子却站在志贵的面前，她告诉志贵，自己叫做艾尔奎特（生天目仁美 配音），是拥有不死之身的吸血鬼，一直追踪并企图消灭死徒罗阿（三宅健太 配音）。志贵的攻击让艾尔奎特的身体极度衰弱，因为，在恢复之前，志贵必须肩负起保护她安全的职责。 在目睹了罗阿的暴行之后，志贵决定加入消灭罗阿的队伍中去。同时，教会的雪露（折笠富美子 配音）也同罗阿有着难解之仇。在追踪罗阿的过程中，志贵渐渐发觉有一些非比寻常的记忆正在脑海中苏醒，一直坚信着的自己的过去，竟然是一个骗局。。Survivors of a tragic shipping collision are rescued by a mysterious black ship which appears out of the fog.
