《瀑布》的故事灵感来自导演钟孟宏友人发生的真实故事，以电影《瀑布》中层层暗喻与不停撞击两个女主角的故事为设计概念主轴，就有如海报中的草丛，缓缓持续着围绕这着母女，像是保护他们又像是被团团困住。而她们背后的蓝色帏幕象征未完工且令人期待的未来，蓝色的基底又像是层层水幕，大量的水花如瀑布般向下坠落。。操劳一生的张秀梅晚年在儿子李华家照顾儿媳王海燕和孙子果果，却因阿尔兹海默症（老年痴呆）发病屡 “添乱”，在儿媳抱怨和儿子经济压力下被送往三妹李悦家。脑海停留在女儿们清贫却需要她的岁月。。The story revolves around three hobos: Brindille, Casquette and La Flèche. Every Tuesday, Brindille and Casquette play the lottery. They lose, but, for a brief moment, they allow themselves to dream.
